Our Story

When a child is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, they do not need a “solution” or “fix.”

They need a partner.

This was the goal of Jia Jia Ye and the other co-founders when they opened Springtide. They envisioned an integrative, evidence-based autism care center that put the needs of each child and their family first while creating a world-class customer experience.

Equipped with a background working with other healthcare organizations that are industry leaders in customer experience, Jia Jia jumped on the opportunity to create something better in the autism space.

Springtide’s philosophy is simple: build a team of compassionate and experienced individuals to form a trusted partnership with families they can rely on for their entire journey.

Springtide’s first centers launched in 2020 and are currently proudly serving families in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

We believe that technology can be a core tool in allowing us to better understand sessions and collaborate amongst the many individuals crucial in our client's journey. This technology allows us to respond faster, collaborate better, and explain results to parents and payers.

Creating a 360-approach to Care

Springtide understands better than most that autism can not be fit into a standardized checklist. In fact, many individuals on the spectrum have co-existing challenges, including medical needs, that can stand in the way of their learning and development goals if not treated. Our 360-approach allows us to identify other areas of difficulty and work to address those, which in turn opens the child up for learning and growth.

Autism Diagnosis Services

One of the biggest hurdles parents face when seeking assistance for their children is access to the diagnosis itself. Insurance companies require a written, formal diagnosis of autism to cover services like ABA therapy. Long wait times deny children and their families needed support and delay the start of their plans. Springtide is proud to offer diagnostic services to help individuals throughout the community get access to services, whether with Springtide or not.

Care Navigation

2022
Parents face many challenges when navigating the world of caring for an individual on the spectrum. Our Care Navigation service seeks to expand our family support services by being the partner for them on their journey. This includes both navigating the bureaucratic world of services and benefits, as well as finding ASD-friendly resources in their area such as Barbers and Dentists.

Value-Based Care

Springtide is working directly with insurance companies to lead the industry towards a value-based care approach to coverage. This approach, which bases payments on the progress and value created for the client rather than a flat fee for services, is widely used across the medical industry and will help families, providers, and payers in the autism industry experience a higher standard of care and remove many of the mysteries that still surround it.
