How it Works

What We Offer

Springtide’s diagnosticians are clinicians with years of experience evaluating children for the presence of autism, using the gold standard Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule™ (ADOS™-2).
The evaluation process includes a virtual interview and in-person assessment to allow the clinician to fully assess your child’s developmental history and behavior. After the assessment, the clinician will provide you with the results and discuss next steps. While many evaluations using the ADOS result in definitive ASD diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria, some children may need to be referred out for further neurological, psychological or genetic testing to rule out other complicating diagnoses or identify related conditions. A positive ASD diagnosis based on the ADOS will be sufficient to allow insurance coverage for an assessment for ABA services.
Costs and Insurance

What Does it Cost

Insurance coverage is currently limited but expanding as Springtide pursues full insurance coverage for our diagnostician services.

We also offer private pay options because we understand that every day matters. The service includes:

After the Diagnosis

What to Expect

Following a positive diagnosis for ASD, you will have many options for pursuing ABA therapy or other needed therapies which may benefit your child.
Springtide’s integrated ABA, speech and occupational therapy services may be one option to consider. However, you will need to complete the full intake process to ensure your child is a fit for Springtide’s model and that there is a slot available for treatment. You are under no obligation to obtain services at Springtide following a diagnostic evaluation. We will provide you with a list of providers for your review and consideration. We are here to support you and your child in finding the right option for treatment!
